Free generator and imports

CSV and Excel files are parsed in your browser. The original file is not uploaded to a server. Free tool records stay in the open page until you export them or choose to save a workspace. Choosing to save while signed out temporarily keeps that ledger in your tab’s session storage so you can finish creating an account.

Saved workspaces

Saving sends the tenancy details and transaction records to your authenticated workspace. Records are stored in Cloudflare D1. Server queries use the signed-in account to scope access. Account sessions use an HTTP-only cookie, and passwords use salted PBKDF2 hashes. Production connections require HTTPS.

Recovery and account access

Account creation provides a recovery key once. Store it privately. You need it to reset a forgotten password; a reset rotates the key and signs out other sessions. Email/password accounts verify their email address before saving records, sharing a tenancy or subscribing. Email verification links last 24 hours; password reset links last 30 minutes and work once. Google sign-in requests only identity, name and email. Linking Google to an existing account requires the current password and the same email. Cloudflare Turnstile validates authentication requests on the server.

Tenant access

A landlord can create an invitation for one tenancy and one email address. The invited user must sign in with that verified email to accept it within seven days. Tenants can view the shared ledger, including transaction notes and corrections, and download statements and receipts. They cannot edit records or access other tenancies. Landlords can revoke access at any time. Tenant access is free.

Corrections, history and backups

Saved transactions cannot be edited or removed. Add a reversal and a corrected entry to explain changes. The 20 most recent saved workspace versions are retained in the database for operational recovery. Download your own JSON backup and CSV/PDF exports regularly. Production disaster recovery depends on the Cloudflare D1 plan configured by the operator.

Billing and cancellation

When enabled, payments are handled by Stripe Checkout, and card details are not stored in this app. Canceling renewal keeps paid access through the current paid period. When a trial or subscription expires, records remain available to read and export, while saving is paused. Saved records remain in your account until you request their removal. What a balance check means

The checker verifies recorded arithmetic, flags possible duplicates and compares reported balances. It cannot confirm actual money received, identify every missing transaction or certify a record for legal use. Empty imported cells do not become unpaid charges.
